THE CHOIR

     Our objectives may be simply

summarised as follows:

To promote the art of    male voice choral music.

To support charitable  causes through our performances.

To have fun and enjoy singing together whilst giving pleasure to others and achieving the above!

Many male voice choirs say they have a unique atmosphere but The Mill Singers truly is a Choir of Friends. The current membership includes founder members who helped start the Choir in 1994 and who ensure the original ethos which has proved so successful continues.

Although our standards are set high, we also regard ourselves as a community choir and, together with some extremely talented and experienced singers in our membership, there are several among us who had never sung before joining The Mill Singers. They can certainly sing now!

The Choir’s repertoire

moves on with new music introduced regularly but

at any time it includes light opera, musicals, film music and love songs, folk songs, sacred works and spirituals, pop song arrangements . . . and even an occasional piece written for the Choir!
